That worthless bum Eric Chavez signed a minor league deal with the Yankees while I was in KC. He's getting an invite to Spring Training. He claims that he's healed up and has a new swing that will take the pressure off his oft injured shoulder.
What this means is that some up and coming player in the Yankee chain is being told to wait yet another year before getting a look in Spring Training. Meanwhile, 87 year old one armed cripple Eric Chavez, who hasn't really done a thing in a Major League uniform for at least 5 years, will be welcomed like the prodigal son into camp.
I bet Rob M, George, Mark and I could run a team better than the Steinbrenner's could.
