Pics Of Columbia Construction

Both yesterday and today, as well as tomorrow, Chico the Dog and I took a walk to Columbia to buy the Modesto Bee at the post office and walk through the old part of town, which is a State Park.
Yesterday we watched the crew move the heavy plates that cover the trench. I've not see it done before, but they used the backhoe without the bucket and a forklift to push the plates into place.
Today they were digging in the trench. They're replacing a storm drain and adding some drains to Main Street. Chico and I watched them for a while before moving on.
